"Co-operation with MaCom began in January 1999 when at that point we wanted to move our DOS-based database to a Windows environment.

We were in the need of system consultants with expert knowledge of Oracle to help us do the job. The project was somewhat special, because we needed the new system to be able to search elements in chemical structures. This meant the development of a system combining the graphic system ISIS with a traditional relational database (Compound warehouse).

Even if the project encountered some difficulties in the process, MaCom has been able to lift the project during the various stages. MaCom has proved their ability to understand our needs and glean the signals from the users and then put together the most efficient solution.

As a result of our good co-operation with MaCom we have used the company for several other tasks, e.g. they have created the framework for our Intranet contributing with expert knowledge of web technology that we do not possess ourselves. MaCom has developed an efficient ASP solution which communicates with our Oracle database. This has been very cost-saving for us as we no longer need an intermediate application for database communication."
